IT’S BEGINNING TO LOOK A LOT LIKE CHRISTMAS, WITH SANTA CLAUS COMIN’ TO TOWN.

It is the time of the year for the annual Lions Club of Moama traditional Carols by Candlelight.

A much loved community gathering that has been occurring for over 30 years, in Moama, the Carols by Candlelight will have us doing our best Bublé or Mariah.

All the favourites will be on the program including Jingle Bells, Silent Night, White Christmas and It’s Beginning to Look Like Christmas.

The carols will be hosted by Jefferson Smith, with a great line-up of local entertainers, including students from Moama Grammar College.

Santa Claus is comin’ to town with the big man appearing, making a list, and checking it twice.

Murray River Council Mayor Frank Crawley and Epicentre Church pastor Rob will be giving the Christmas messages.

Remember to bring a blanket and chairs, with the suggestion of mozzie repellent, just to be on the safe side, as well.

Ice-cream and coffee vans will be there to help feed the crowd, along with the always loved Lions Club barbecue, hot chips and cold drinks.

Proceeds of this event will be donated locally to people in need.

The Lions Club of Moama would like to sincerely thank the Carols by Candlelight sponsors Murray River Council, Moama RSL, Moama Bowling Club, Rich River Golf Club, Epicentre Op-Shop and Design by Jaynika Veitch.

For further information, contact Colin Hosking on 0437 370 707 or Anita Hardwick on 0491 093 931.

Have yourself a merry little Christmas.

Carols by Candlelight, Main Oval Perricoota Rd, Moama, Sunday, December 10 with food from 5.30pm, with carols starting at 6.30pm.
