Crowds will gather once again at Moama Heartland Raceway.

BUCKLE-UP AND START YOUR ENGINES BECAUSE RACING IS BACK AT MOAMA’S HEARTLAND RACEWAY.

On December 9, some of Victoria’s — and Australia’s — best racers will be converging on Moama to race around the iconic 500-metre track.

V8 Dirt Modifieds, Late Models, Super Sedans and SDAV Hot Rods will be competing throughout the night, with cash prizes up for grabs.

“It’s one of our best nights of racing,” event organiser Dave Roberts said.

“We have some incredible cars, some of which are up to 700 horsepower, racing around the track, which will be great to see.

“The quality of car you will see racing is as good as any other you will see around Australia, so the racing is sure to be exciting.”

Gates will open at 5pm, with tickets available to purchase on the night.

“It’s a fantastic night for families,” Dave said.

“We will have a canteen and full bar facilities, as well as top-class racing, so it’s sure to be a great night out for the family.”

Thanks to the wide range of cars racing, the event is a great opportunity for those interested in motor sports to come along for their first time.

“If you’re looking for a bit of entertainment, and are looking at dipping your toe into the world of motor sport, this is the event to come to,” Dave said.

“We have four different classes. Four different competitor levels. Four different speed levels and many reasons why you should come along.

“You won’t see these cars on the street.

“There’s no reason why you shouldn’t come along if you’re a speedway or racing follower.”

Tickets are $30 for adults, $25 for pensioners, $15 for youth (12 to 16 years) and $5 for children (five to 11 years).
