EC Griffith Cup & Yarrawonga Fair

Organisers of the EC Griffith Cup and Yarrawonga Fair invite attendees to ‘come see fire on water’. The nation’s fastest circuit boats are coming to Yarrawonga Foreshore for three big days of boating action. There’ll be market stalls and thrill rides for entertainment. Plus, speed switches from the water to the sky twice a day when Red Bull’s Matt Hall performs his air show.

Lockington’s 25th annual Vintage Rally

Organisers of the Lockington Vintage Rally invite all to celebrate the event’s 25th anniversary. Come along this Saturday and Sunday between 9am and 4pm and feast your eyes on an array of vintage engines, farm machinery, vehicles and more! The Show ’n’ Shine event will be on Saturday from 1pm to 3pm. Jam-packed with entertainment, the rally features a garden art display, scarecrow competition, town garage sales and an art show.

Cost: $10 entry. Free entry to exhibitors and primary school-aged children when accompanied by an adult.

Melbourne to MOVE

The inaugural Melbourne to MOVE is coming to Victoria’s country roads for a scenic must-do on every car enthusiast’s list. The drive will start at CMV Truck and Bus in Derrimut – a facility that needs to be seen to be believed. On-site baristas and bacon and egg rolls will keep energy levels up before the cavalcade makes its way through country towns to Shepparton, ending at the Finishline Festival at MOVE. The festival features a people’s choice award for favourite machine of the day, live music, food and wine, and full access to MOVE.

Rhythm & Brews 2023

Live blues and rock music, good food and a few beverages are coming to the Wunghnu Tavern for one massive night of entertainment. This year, Rhythm & Brews is presenting its event ‘Live Rock’, featuring local bands The Journeyman and Thor. Doors open at 6pm and bookings are essential on 0413 914 004.

Nagambie Farmers’ Market

Every fourth Sunday of the month, treat yourself to a feast of atmosphere at Nagambie Farmers’ Market. Some of the best producers in the region will be at the picturesque Tahbilk Wines from 10am to 2pm. As an added bonus, the April market includes Sunday Sips — live music to shop along to.

Mosaic lamp making workshop

Bringing Turkey to Shepparton, Art Masterclass invites all to its Turkish mosaic lamp workshop. This Sunday, the 10am and 2pm classes will introduce attendees to techniques such as how to lay tile and how to assemble geometric patterns. At the end of the session, you’ll leave full of delicious homemade Turkish shortbread cookies and carrying your very own Turkish mosaic lamp.
