Book sale 2023

SATURDAY

Monster garage sale

Mooroopna’s monster garage sale returns Saturday to the Canteen and, as usual, it’s sure to pull a crowd. Hosted by Mooroopna’s Anglican Church, call in and hunt for a bargain from 8am to 3pm with clothes, furniture, books, toys, collectables and art on offer. All proceeds to be shared between local charities.

Tastes of the Goulburn

Ready to celebrate 20 years of good food, wine and fun times? Seymour’s Tastes of the Goulburn returns following its four-year hiatus. From 10am to 5pm, head along and check out more than 50 vendors and entertainers. The delightful radio personality Ben Sorensen is set to bring his flamboyant edge and provide plenty of laughs as event MC. For more information visit www.tastesofthegoulburn.org.au

Neffy’s Walk — Let’s Talk

Organised by Lifeline, Neffy’s Walk — Let’s Talk suicide prevention event is on at Shepparton’s Victoria Park Lake on Saturday. A powerful memorial candlelight walk will take place at 4pm in memory of loved ones lost to suicide. All welcome to attend, donate or buy a candle with all proceeds going to Lifeline.

Elvis: Hollywood to Vegas

Shepparton’s Sherbourne Terrace is partnering with Zurcas Entertainment to bring you the ultimate tribute show. For one night only, award-winning Elvis impersonator Peter Triantis will perform his Elvis: Hollywood to Vegas show. With showgirls and a six-piece band, the 7pm show immerses attendees in a performance reminiscent of the legend himself. Book tickets to avoid disappointment (via eventbrite or Sherbourne Terrace). This is a strictly 18+ licensed event. No BYO.

Spiritual Expo 2023

A day of transcendence and mystical allure awaits attendees of the 2023 Spiritual Expo. From 10am to 4pm, Rushworth shire hall will host tarot readers, psychic mediums, red horse healings and more. Candles and crystals will be available to buy, plus some lucky winners will leave with some door prizes.

Eid al-Fitr Celebration Eid Mubarak

A lunchtime special is coming to St Paul’s African House on Sunday in celebration of Eid, the three-day religious holiday to mark the end of Ramadan for Muslims worldwide.
